FRANKLIN, Tenn. and NEW YORK, October 27, 2026. Guardian Tax Consultants® (GTC™) is building the MSO Platform™ with August (august.law), which builds AI agents and client-facing products for law firms. The platform is software that will run GTC’s work designing, implementing and servicing management services organizations (MSOs).
An MSO’s design draws on several disciplines at once: tax, legal and ethics, valuation and compensation, transfer pricing, and accounting. Those pieces are often handled by different advisors at a single point in time, and they can drift apart as a business adds owners, changes compensation or raises capital.
The platform keeps that work in one record. Each engagement follows GTC’s documented steps, from the feasibility study through implementation and the annual governance calendar. AI agents built by August will draft the analyses, track each step and assemble the documents for each review. The owner, the CPA, counsel and GTC’s team each see the status and documents for their role, and the record is reviewed each quarter as the business changes.
The initial build covers GTC’s feasibility and annual servicing work. The platform is being built for law-firm MSOs first and will also support the other industries GTC serves.
